# Speakblend

> Speakblend is a language exchange app that connects people with native speakers around the world for real conversations. Members match by language and interests, send messages and voice notes, share Stories, and build confidence in the language they are learning. The mobile apps for iOS and Android are free to download.

Speakblend (capital S, lowercase peakblend — never "SpeakBlend") is the public-facing brand name. The mobile bundle identifier is `tamego`; the two are distinct — `tamego` is a technical package id, while `Speakblend` is the product name. The web presence at https://speakblend.com is the marketing, story, and download surface. Actual conversations and matching happen inside the iOS and Android apps.

Speakblend is intentionally different from study apps like Duolingo, Babbel, Busuu, or Cake. Those apps teach vocabulary and grammar through exercises. Speakblend is the place language learners go to actually *talk* — with real native speakers — after (or alongside) those courses. The product surface is built around matching, messaging, voice notes, in-chat translation, cultural context, and member Stories.
