Delete Your Speakblend Account

1. Delete Your Account in the App

You can delete your account yourself at any time:

1. Open the Speakblend app and tap your photo in the tab bar to open your Profile.
2. Tap the gear icon at the top of your profile to open Settings.
3. Tap Account & Security, the row with your name and photo.
4. Under Account Management, tap Delete your data and account.
5. Follow the steps on the screen. Tick the confirmation, tap Delete Account, and confirm once more when the app asks.

Your profile, posts, and comments are removed from the app as soon as you confirm. Section 3 describes what else is removed and what we keep.

MAX subscriptions: Deleting your account, in the app or by email, does not cancel a MAX subscription that renews through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there first.

2. Request Deletion Without the App

(1) By Email

If you cannot use the app, you can ask us to delete your account. Send an email:

In the message, include your username and how you sign in to Speakblend (with an email code, Google, or Apple ID), so that we can find the right account.

(2) With the Contact Form

You can also send the same request with the contact form: enter the email address of your account, write "Delete my account" as the subject, and include your username in the message.

When we delete an account on request, the result is the same as when you delete it in the app, so Section 3 applies either way.

3. What Is Deleted and What Is Kept

(1) Removed Right Away

• Your profile, posts, comments, likes, and notifications are removed from the app immediately.
• Your account is removed from other users' follower and following lists.
• Unanswered introductions you sent in your first 48 hours are deleted.

Your other chats with people remain available to them.

(2) What We Keep, and for How Long

Apart from voice call recordings, Speakblend does not delete information on a fixed schedule. After your account is deleted, we keep the following records with no fixed end date, for the purposes described under Legal obligations in the Privacy Policy: when legally required, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect rights, property, and users.

• An archived copy of everything that is removed: your profile details and sign-in identifiers, posts, comments, likes, notifications, matching data, follow connections, and the unanswered introductions above. We also keep it so that your account can be restored if you ask us to, for example after a deletion you did not intend.
• A record of the deletion, with a copy of your profile details and the reason you gave
• Archived copies of deleted chats, posts, and comments
• Login, session and device records
• Subscription and purchase records (the payments themselves are processed and kept by Apple or Google)
• Reports, complaints and support requests

The archive is not visible to other users. Only authorized Speakblend administrators can access it or restore an account.

The product analytics and crash reports described in Section 1 (2a) of the Privacy Policy are not deleted automatically when you delete your account. You can ask us to delete them, as Section 4 below describes.

(3) Voice Call Recordings

Voice call recordings are deleted 30 days after the call, including when you delete your account. While one participant has an open report against the other, the recordings of their calls are kept until the report is closed.

The Privacy Policy sets this out in full under Account deletion and Personal Information Retention Period in Section 2, and under Voice Calls in Section 3.

4. Deleting Some of Your Data

You do not have to delete your account to delete some of your information:

• You can delete your posts, comments, and chats in the app at any time. A deleted post or comment is removed from the app for everyone, and deleting a chat removes it for every participant. We keep an archived copy of each.
• When you delete or clear individual messages, they are hidden from view, but their content stays stored with the chat until the chat itself is deleted.
• You can ask what we keep about you, or ask us to delete it.
• You can ask for an export or deletion of the product analytics and crash-reporting data described in Section 1 (2a) of the Privacy Policy.
